Taproom Website Design for Tejas Beer
everyday beer, everyman's brewery
Taproom website design built for a brewery as big as Texas
A multi-story brewery and taproom in the heart of Sawyer Yards, paired with a fast-growing retail beer brand. As a result, the taproom website design was built to do the work of both.
the problem
Tejas Beer is an everyday, everyman's beer with a nod to Texas' cross-cultural heritage. It's brewed and poured at Tejas Brewery in Houston's Sawyer Yards arts district. Three floors of food, beer, cocktails, coffee, and event space. The retail brand also shows up in coolers across the Greater Houston area. So the taproom website design had to do a lot of jobs at once, without feeling like a stack of disconnected microsites.
Key Considerations
A brewery, a taproom, and a brand under one roof
The brewery and restaurant web design had to introduce a beer brand, sell a taproom experience, promote events, and push retail. In short, everything needed to feel like one cohesive destination.
A wide audience, all served what they want
From happy hour regulars to event planners and six-pack shoppers, the taproom website design had to greet a wide range of visitors. It also had to route each of them to the right thing fast.
Built for a brand that's still growing
With distribution expanding and the taproom becoming a Houston fixture, the site needed room to grow. As a result, constant rebuilds were off the table.
The Process
Built like a great pour. Designed to serve every kind of guest.

where the work proves itself
One site, every reason to visit
This wasn't about building a brewery website. Instead, it was about building a digital front door wide enough for everyone Tejas serves.
the proof
The taproom website design brings the Tejas brand together in a single, cohesive experience. It also helps every visitor find what they need fast. Whether they're planning a private event or just looking for a retailer, everything is one click away. Ultimately, the Houston skyline view is promised front and center.
Key Takeaways
Event inquiries come through the site
Corporate parties, birthdays, and rehearsal dinners book through the site instead of phone tag. The events team spends more time hosting and less time chasing leads.
Retail seekers find Tejas fast
A retail locator helps six-pack shoppers know where to buy in seconds. Distributors see more sales because customers actually find the beer.
The site earns the visit
Menus, events, and taproom photos give people real reasons to swing by. The taproom fills up with regulars who first heard about it online.
