Chappell Hill Sausage Packaging Design and Website

one perfectly smoked link at a time

Serving up Texas tradition

A long-standing Texas sausage brand preparing for its next chapter, with packaging and a website designed to carry its legacy from the smokehouse to the grocery store shelf.

the problem

If you’ve ever driven through Chappell Hill, Texas, you’ve probably smelled the magic before you saw the sign. Family-owned and fiercely local, Chappell Hill Sausage has been crafting authentic Texas sausage since 1968. As the brand expanded beyond the local meat counter into major retailers, their branding and packaging needed to catch up with their flavor.

Key Considerations

Growing beyond local roots

What once worked in a small-town setting now had to stand out in crowded grocery store coolers at H-E-B, Kroger, and Buc-ee’s.

Built for the shelf, true to the brand

The challenge was to keep the country charm while making the packaging bold, clear, and unmistakably Chappell Hill.

Honoring a long legacy

The work needed to celebrate more than 50 years of smoking links and backyard BBQ favorites without feeling dated.

The Process

Refinement over reinvention.
Designed to sell as hard as it sizzles.
