John Owen—Johnnyo himself—is the namesake and founding force behind Johnnyo Design. He’s been stirring the creative pot since 1998, after graduating with his BFA in art and design at LSU - GEAUX TIGERS. He's been crafting brands, building websites, and mentoring designers with a calm hand and a sharp eye ever since.

He started in the analog era and taught himself digital design the hard way—by breaking things, rebuilding them line by line with code, and staying curious like a chef deconstructing a dish to master every ingredient. That spirit still drives our work today: no shortcuts, no templates, just thoughtful strategy and handcrafted creative.

Clients trust John for his attention to detail, quiet leadership, and ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling experiences. He’s not here to show off—he’s here to help you grow your dough with work that’s built to last. He tends to the team and our clients here and there, and he's slowly passing the torch to the team as he focuses his days (and sometimes nights) on his true calling: shepherding, pastoring, and mentoring folks to build community. John serves in full time ministry as the Community Pastor at The Brook Church in Tomball, TX. He’s the kind of leader who makes space for others to shine and sees people for who they really are.

Outside of work, John's a husband, dad, and mentor, and napkin-sketching idea machine who believes the best creative is like a great meal—made with nothing but the best ingredients, prepared with care, and meant to be shared with good people.

Anthony Gorrity

Anthony has been a part of the team since 2017 and has excelled in creative leadership since 2010. He builds and coaches high-performing teams that deliver strategic creative through multichannel campaigns.

Anthony holds an International Craft Beer Marketing Awards Gold Medal and has directed creative efforts for major brands such as HP, Chevron, and eight-time INC 5000 fastest growing, Ledge.

He’s a husband to his best friend, dad of two, and a first generation immigrant and the first in his family to get a college degree. His dad’s a carpenter, and his mom’s an art school dropout turned interior landscape designer, so he’s been immersed in hard work and creativity all his life.

As a working mom to the most precious little girl (yes, I'm biased!), I'm navigating the exciting balance between motherhood and my career. I graduated with an associate's degree in graphic design in 2019 and have been dedicated to refining my skills ever since. I've had the opportunity to work with the Harris County Public Library and various marketing agencies, applying my design expertise to creative projects. Currently, I'm expanding my skills in content writing, social media, and project management. My goal is to support and create the best work possible, and I’m eager to bring your creative visions to life with passion and commitment. Let's create something amazing together!

Patrick interned with us through high school and college and joined the team in 2012 after earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas. Patrick is the creative genius behind most of our branding and web design and development projects.

Angie Humphries

Angie is a designer, strategist, and copywriter with a knack for translating big ideas into visuals and messaging that connect. Since joining the team in 2022, she’s worn many hats, from leading web design projects to crafting campaign strategy and copy that sticks. With a background in sociology and psychology, Angie brings a people-first approach to everything she creates, diving deep into what makes audiences tick and how brands can earn their attention.

Her process blends curiosity, intuition, and intention, pulling from both creative instincts and behavioral insight to shape designs that not only look great but perform with purpose. Endlessly inspired by life’s small details, she’s always looking for the thread that ties it all together and makes the message matter.

Noe De La Cruz

Noe started his role at the end of 2019 as a part-time photographer & part-time digital marketer. Testing his skills from the experience he gained from free work & another agency, he accomplished Google Ad campaign successes for clients. He also started to build his SEO skillset by getting businesses on the organic search map for terms that matter to them while also building an analytical skillset by monitoring the behavior and seeing what holes needed to be patched for the possibilities of conversions to happen.

Noe now manages over 10 ad campaigns and 10 SEO campaigns monthly.

He has led monthly consultations with clients to boost their organic search and paid advertising success.

My name is Will Bench, and I am a 24-year-old programmer. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2024, earning my bachelor's degree in computer science, where I developed a solid foundation in various programming languages and technologies including C++, C#, Python, Java, and SQL. These experiences not only honed my technical skills but also fueled my desire to program more. My curiosity drives me to seek out new techniques and best practices, ensuring that I stay well-equipped to tackle the challenges of the web development world. Currently, I am focusing on enhancing my problem-solving capabilities by diving deeper into languages and frameworks such as PHP and React. I constantly seek opportunities to learn and grow, whether through hands-on projects or collaborative efforts with colleagues. Rylie has been apart of the team since March 2025, bringing a creative spark and a passion for content creation to the table. With experience in videography and photography in action sports, she has developed a knack for producing engaging content. A proud University of Houston graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications (2024), Rylie blends her academic background with hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation. In addition to her work with clients, Rylie runs a mountain biking YouTube channel with her husband and the channel is vlog based and she is focusing on refining her editing skills and shooting processes with this project.
