About the Company
Johnnyo Design was established in 1998 by John Owen while
he attended design school at Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers! The
company name came from a nickname — Johnnyo. {John was given many nicknames while growing up — some of which we’ll not
mention}. Johnnyo was the nickname that seemed to follow him
wherever he went, so it seemed the likely choice for this company's name. Besides, it has a nice ring to it, right?
From Louisiana to Texas
In 2000, Johnnyo Design moved to the Houston, Texas area to broaden its horizons, step up the
level of work as well as the work flow, and expand its client
base.
Today, Johnnyo Design specializes in web design and web application development, but offers
talents and services in many other areas. Corporate identity
branding [logo design] is an area of strength as are illustration
and photography — both traditional and digital.

Since becoming a managing partner in the firm, Johnnyo Design handles all the front-end design for Doogie Company.
